The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care and thrives in a collaborative clinical environment. About the Opportunity The GI team currently consists of seven (7) GI physicians. Providers conduct a combination of outpatient office visits and procedures in the Endoscopy Lab and potentially an Ambulatory Surgical Center.

Diagnose and manage chronic and complex conditions common in older adults. Apply evidence‑based principles of geriatric syndromes, including frailty, falls, delirium, and dementia. Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members. Provide medication management with attention to polypharmacy and deprescribing. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers regarding care plans and goals of care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance activities. Document all clinical encounters in the electronic medical record in accordance with organizational standards. Provide inpatient consults, skilled nursing facility coverage, or home‑based visits depending on program needs. Qualifications MD (or DO) degree from an accredited institution Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency Completion of an ACGME-accredited Geriatric Medicine fellowship (preferred) Board Certified or Board Eligible in Geriatric Medicine (must become BC within a five (5) year timeline per Medical Staff bylaws) Eligible for Medical Licensure in the State of New Jersey
