Job Description
Description Position Summary The Psychiatrist at Mercer County Correctional Facility, Lambertville NJ, diagnoses and treats patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. This role gathers and evaluates data from patients, families, and other healthcare professionals, including nurses and social workers, to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Psychiatrists examine patients, order and interpret laboratory or diagnostic tests, and provide treatment using psychotherapeutic methods and medications. This role collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care in clinical or correctional healthcare settings. This opportunity is 16 hours a week for weekends.
