This is a full-time employed position within a well-established, physician-owned emergency medicine group that has served northern New Jersey for decades. Unlike many emergency medicine opportunities today, VERA remains an independent, locally governed practice where physicians maintain a meaningful voice in clinical operations, scheduling, quality initiatives, and the future direction of the group. About the Position Dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department Annual pediatric volume of approximately 16,000-18,000 visits Pediatric patients from infancy through 23 years of age Full-time schedule consists of 11 twelve-hour shifts per month Collaborative environment with strong support from adult emergency medicine colleagues, pediatric hospitalists, specialists, and nursing staff State-of-the-art facility at The Valley Hospital Compensation & Benefits We believe Pediatric Emergency Medicine physicians should be valued equally within our practice.
