The primary purpose of the Physician Specialist Per Diem position is to provide specialized clinical care and consultations for patients in the Department. This is an onsite position.

Duties include:

Evaluates and manages patients with complex medical problems. Provides direct clinical care to patients. Develops, implements and evaluates plans of treatment. Utilize the electronic medical record ( EMR ) for patient treatment and documentation. Consults with other attending physicians regarding patient care. May supervise medical personnel.
