2:1 OR to Office Ratio, 7-4 OR days, 7-5 maybe, and 8-4:30 for office days Hip and Knee focused 5 APPs right now, hoping to stay at a 1:1 Physician/APP ratio 1:6 call split (split among team) 1 urgent room they can run 1 day per week Can also cover rounds on slower/non-surgery days, 10-14 max on height, as low as 2 sometimes very up and down Good mix of clientele in the area, busier in summers Must be BC/BE-within 5 years of
Residency Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide operative and non-operative care for patients requiring total joint replacement, including primary and revision procedures.
  • Participate in the orthopedic call schedule and manage musculoskeletal injuries.
  • Work collaboratively with trauma, sports medicine, and other orthopedic subspecialties to provide comprehensive care.
  • Engage in resident and fellow education through university.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research, and departmental meetings.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical excellence, professionalism, and patient-centered care.
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of an accredited orthopedic surgery residency.
  • Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction / Joint Replacement Surgery.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the state of New Jersey.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to care for orthopedic patients while on-call
  • Academic interest and commitment to teaching and scholarly activity preferred.
