Our mission is to deliver exceptional, personalized care that helps patients achieve meaningful and lasting improvement in their mental health. As part of our continued growth, we are expanding beyond traditional models of care to incorporate: Advanced, brain-based treatments (e.g., TMS, Spravato) Objective diagnostics and testing, including EEG and biomarker-informed approaches A more root-cause-oriented, functional psychiatry framework where appropriate We are building a practice that blends clinical excellence with innovation, and are seeking clinicians who share that vision. About the Role We are seeking a Part-Time Psychiatrist to provide high-quality psychiatric care to our patient population.

We are open to:

Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists (preferred) Psychiatrists who see children through adults We are particularly interested in clinicians who: Have an interest in advanced treatment modalities Are aligned with a brain-based and/or functional psychiatry approach Are thoughtful about how to move beyond symptom management toward addressing underlying contributors to mental health conditions This is a part-time, in-person role , with hours primarily in weekday after-school time windows . Scheduling is flexible and can be tailored based on availability. The role will be based out of our Ramsey or Glen Rock, New Jersey offices. Psychiatrist Responsibilities Provide high-quality psychiatric care, including: Comprehensive evaluations Medication management and follow-up visits Urgent and emergent consultations as needed Develop individualized, thoughtful treatment plans based on each patient's needs Prescribe and monitor medications when appropriate Incorporate, where relevant: Behavioral and lifestyle considerations Broader clinical factors contributing to mental health Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including: Therapists Coaches and other care team members Participate in the evolving clinical model as we expand into advanced and precision-based approaches to care Qualifications MD or DO, Board Certified (or Board Eligible) in Psychiatry and/or Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Active, unrestricted New Jersey medical license Unencumbered DEA license Several years of experience working with child and adolescent populations Strong clinical judgment and commitment to high-quality care Preferred (but not required): Interest or experience in: TMS, Spravato, or other interventional psychiatry treatments Functional or integrative psychiatry Use of objective data (e.g., EEG, labs, biomarkers) to inform care Compensation Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience Why Join MedPsych Be part of a forward-thinking, growing practice Opportunity to help shape a modern, more effective model of psychiatric care Work alongside a collaborative, collegial, and high-quality provider team Full administrative support, including: Front office Billing and finance Scheduling HR and operations
