Job Description

A newly opened occupational medicine clinic in Iselin, NJ is seeking a Locums Occupational Medicine Physician for a 3-month assignment beginning June 15, 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys providing workplace injury care, preventive medicine, and employee health services in a structured outpatient setting. The position offers a consistent weekday schedule with no overtime, call, or holiday coverage requirements, making it ideal for providers seeking work-life balance.

Friday Shift Hours:
7:00 AM - 4:00 PM No overtime required No holiday coverage required
Patient Volume:
Approximately 15-20 patients per day Responsibilities Evaluate and treat occupational injuries and illnesses Perform pre-employment, return-to-work, and fitness-for-duty evaluations Conduct workplace injury assessments and follow-up care Perform and interpret EKGs and Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs) Provide minor procedures including suturing and wound care Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient workflow Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible Physician Active New Jersey medical license Experience in Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred Comfortable performing minor procedures and occupational health evaluations
