Job Description
Join a rural emergency department in Hobbs, NM, delivering high-quality care to a close-knit community in a low-volume, high-acuity setting. You'll work in a 12-bed ED with an open ICU and advanced medical technology, supported by
EPIC EMR.
The department sees roughly 16,650 annual visits and uses single-physician coverage with APP support from 11:00 AM-11:00 PM. Work options include full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules. Compensation is $295/hour, with paid malpractice insurance including tail coverage, plus travel and lodging reimbursement for out-of-area providers.
Requirements:
ABEM board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine, or board-certified/board-eligible in Family or Internal Medicine with Emergency Department experience. Applicants must have Emergency Medicine experience and hold an active medical license or be eligible to obtain one.
