Local Team Collaboration:
Join our close-knit team of 5 physicians and 3 APPs at Covenant Health Hobbs Hospital. Work alongside a fantastic team of emergency and hospital medicine colleagues, providing an excellent variety of pathology. Our physicians are from all over the country, reflecting the unique environment where they willingly fly in monthly. Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools. Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts.
Qualifications:
Board-certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine or b oard-certified/eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with ATLS. Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in New Mexico. Authorized to work in the United States. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Scheduling:
Full-time, part-time, or PRN positions available. Our emergency department provides single doctor coverage with an APP from 11 am to 11 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide top-quality patient care to a rural emergency department with 12 beds in an open ICU setting, seeing 16,650 patients annually. Foster collaboration and support among team members. Emphasize proper, careful, and safe patient treatment as a core focus. Utilize advanced medical technology and handle transfers through the Convenant Transfer Center. Compensation:
Hourly 1099 compensation is $310 for days and $330 for nights.
