Required Skills:
Active New Mexico medical license and NM DEA certification Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency Strong surgical skills with expertise in orthopaedic procedures Ability to work independently and manage on-call responsibilities Excellent communication and patient care skills Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience with hospital privileging and payor credentialing processes Familiarity with outpatient and inpatient orthopedic surgeries Prior experience working in hospital or clinical settings within
New Mexico Preferred Education and Experience:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Completion of an accredited orthopedic surgery residency program At least 2 years of post-residency clinical experience preferred
Other Requirements:
Flexibility to work 7am-7am shifts with possible scheduling adjustments Ability to enroll in the Patient Compensation Fund (PCF) for New Mexico; agency to assist with coverage Willingness to participate in 24-hour beeper call coverage (on-call, not onsite) Commitment to submitting case logs and documentation promptly to facilitate privileging process Seize this outstanding opportunity to join a dedicated team focused on patient well-being and surgical excellence.
