Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN), where you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive women's health services. This exciting position offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care across a wide spectrum of obstetric and gynecological needs, from routine examinations to complex medical procedures. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of clinical excellence, patient safety, and compassionate care. Your expertise will help empower women through all stages of life, fostering health and well-being in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough medical histories, physical examinations, and assessments for women of all ages. Diagnose and treat a broad range of obstetric and gynecological conditions, including reproductive health issues, menstrual disorders, and pregnancy-related concerns. Perform surgical procedures such as cesarean sections, hysterectomies, and minimally invasive surgeries with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently. Coordinate prenatal care, labor & delivery management, and postpartum follow-up to ensure optimal maternal-fetal outcomes. Collaborate with specialists in maternal-fetal medicine, endocrinology, radiology (including medical imaging), and other disciplines to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Provide patient education on family planning, contraception options, menopause management, and preventive health measures. Engage in clinical research initiatives and stay updated on advancements in obstetrics and gynecology to enhance practice standards. Manage inpatient and outpatient care settings while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital protocols. Participate in quality improvement activities, discharge planning, and patient service initiatives to elevate the overall patient experience. Qualifications Medical degree from an accredited institution with board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Valid medical license to practice in the designated region or country. Proven experience in obstetrics and gynecology within hospital or clinical settings; experience with Level I or Level II trauma centers is advantageous. Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for documentation and patient management. Strong knowledge of reproductive endocrinology, maternal-fetal medicine, ultrasound imaging, and perioperative care procedures. Familiarity with advanced diagnostic tools including CT scans, medical imaging techniques, and laboratory testing relevant to OB/GYN practice. Excellent communication skills coupled with compassionate patient-centered care approach. Ability to perform surgical procedures such as suturing, catheterization, wound care, and basic life support (BLS). Experience working with diverse populations across inpatient and outpatient environments; familiarity with hospital protocols including infection control practices is preferred. $425,000.00 - $460,000.00 per year
