This regional medical center serves as a vital healthcare provider for northeastern Nevada, offering comprehensive women's health services to the surrounding communities. The facility features a 16-bed department and is committed to providing quality patient care with strong support for healthcare providers.Opportunity:
Physician (MD) -Obstetrics and Gynecology Job Details:
- Work in clinic 3-4 days per week with clinic hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Patient encounters starting at 8:00 AM with approximately 20 patient encounters per shift
- Provide comprehensive GYN and OB services including prenatal care
- Handle low and high risk pregnancies with routine and complicated deliveries
- Perform vaginal deliveries, low forceps deliveries, and decision-making for c-sections
- Manage complicated deliveries including cesarean sections, breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions
- Conduct OB ultrasounds with performance and interpretation capabilities
- Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations as required
- Handle operative/major gynecological procedures including ectopic pregnancy and ovary removal
- Board certification eligible minimum requirement
- Must maintain Nevada medical license or IMLC
- ABLS certification required
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 45 days
