We are seeking an experienced Breast Imaging professional to lead our Breast Center team as a Supervisor of Imaging . This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Mammography Technologist, Breast Ultrasound Technologist, or Breast Imaging leader who is passionate about women's health, clinical excellence, patient experience, and developing high-performing teams. As the Supervisor of Imaging, you'll combine your breast imaging expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring exceptional clinical quality, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and outstanding patient care. Position Summary The Supervisor of Imaging provides operational and clinical leadership for the Breast Center, overseeing daily workflow, staff performance, quality initiatives, regulatory compliance, and patient care delivery. This role serves as a key liaison between imaging staff, radiologists, physicians, administration, and other healthcare partners to ensure a seamless and exceptional breast imaging experience. The Supervisor fosters a culture of excellence, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while supporting the strategic growth and advancement of breast imaging services. What You'll Do Clinical & Operational Leadership Oversee the daily operations of the Breast Center, ensuring efficient patient flow, quality imaging services, and exceptional patient experiences. Support Mammography, Breast Ultrasound, and breast intervention services while maintaining clinical best practices. Collaborate with radiologists and providers to optimize workflows and improve patient outcomes. Monitor productivity, staffing, scheduling, and resource utilization. Team Development & Staff Leadership Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop breast imaging technologists and support staff. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, competency validation, and performance management. Foster employee engagement and a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth. Ensure staff maintain required certifications, continuing education, and annual competencies. Quality & Regulatory Excellence Oversee quality control programs and imaging quality standards. Ensure compliance with
MQSA, ACR
accreditation standards, state regulations, and organizational policies. Lead quality improvement initiatives designed to enhance patient safety, image quality, and operational performance. Participate in accreditation readiness and regulatory inspections. Patient Experience Promote a compassionate, patient-centered environment focused on dignity, education, and support. Address patient concerns and identify opportunities to enhance the overall breast imaging experience. Champion service excellence and continuous improvement efforts. Strategic & Administrative Responsibilities Assist leadership with budget planning, equipment evaluations, supply management, and capital planning initiatives. Support implementation of new technologies, services, and workflow enhancements. Participate in departmental strategic planning and growth initiatives for breast health services. Act as a liaison between staff, physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary care teams. Minimum Qualifications Education Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Experience Minimum of three to five years of breast imaging experience required. Prior leadership experience, including Lead Technologist, Supervisor, Charge Technologist, or similar role preferred. Experience within an accredited breast imaging program strongly preferred. Licensure & Certifications Current ARRT (R)(M) certification required for Mammography candidates and/or ARDMS certification for Breast Ultrasound candidates as applicable. Current State of Nevada licensure as required. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association upon hire. Why Join Renown Health?
