Job Description

This is a rare opportunity to expand orthopedic services across network of facilities serving an eight-county region in central New York. Join a leading integrated academic health system and lead a team of 28 providers- to provide strategic and clinical leadership across the system. This is a vibrant and sophisticated upstate community set in a bucolic lake front village affording four seasons of cultural and outdoor activity, just an hour away from Albany. Up to $1.1 Million Base Salary Plus Incentives. $200K Sign on bonus. Minimum 7+ years postgraduate clinical experience in an academic or community-based orthopedic program. Minimum 5+ years of successful leadership experience in a Medical Director, Section Head, Chief, or Associate Chief role. Demonstrated success in building or growing programs and service lines. 0.7 FTE Clinical / 0.3 FTE Administrative. Maintain an active clinical practice (Total Joint preferred). Fellowship training strongly preferred (Total Joint preferred).
Subspecialties include:
Total joint, Spine, Sports medicine, Trauma and fracture care, Shoulder and upper extremity, Foot and ankle. Ortho team includes 11 Orthopedic Physicians, two Podiatry Surgeons, two Podiatrists, and 13 PAs.
