Job Description

A well-established, community-focused healthcare system in Upstate New York is seeking a fellowship-trained Breast Surgeon to join its collaborative, multidisciplinary team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in developing and expanding a comprehensive breast care program while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Position Highlights Full-time, hospital-employed position Collaborative, provider-driven culture with strong administrative support Established referral network from primary care and women's health providers Balanced mix of clinic, procedures, and surgery Opportunity to shape and grow a breast surgery program Leadership and Medical Director opportunities available What You'll Do Provide comprehensive care for benign and malignant breast disease Perform procedures including: Breast-conserving surgery Mastectomy Sentinel lymph node biopsy Collaborate with radiology, oncology, and women's health teams Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary planning Help develop breast imaging, navigation, and survivorship services Educate patients and families throughout the care journey Contribute to program development and quality initiatives Qualifications Board Certified/Eligible in General Surgery Completion of a Breast Surgery Fellowship Eligible for medical licensure in New York Strong clinical background in breast oncology
