Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cardiologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will utilize your expertise in cardiovascular medicine to diagnose, treat, and manage patients with a wide range of heart and vascular conditions. Duties Conduct thorough cardiovascular evaluations, including physical examinations and medical history assessments, to determine appropriate treatment plans. Interpret diagnostic tests such as EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems, medical imaging, cardiac catheterization results, and echocardiograms to inform clinical decisions. Perform advanced procedures including catheterization, vascular interventional radiography, and cardiac interventions to diagnose and treat complex heart conditions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across specialties such as electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and critical care to develop comprehensive patient care strategies. Manage inpatient and outpatient cases, ensuring continuity of care through discharge planning, follow-up assessments, and patient education. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic for documentation, patient tracking, and clinical research initiatives. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital standards while delivering compassionate patient service focused on optimal outcomes. Qualifications Medical degree from an accredited institution with board certification or eligibility in cardiology. Proven experience in inpatient and outpatient cardiology settings with familiarity in advanced procedures such as cardiac catheterization and interventional radiography. Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology techniques relevant to cardiovascular health. Proficiency in using EHR systems like Epic or similar platforms for documentation and patient management. Critical care experience including neurocritical care or ICU experience is highly desirable. Excellent skills in patient assessment, medical coding (CPT/ICD), and performing procedures such as suturing or airway management. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams across specialties including endocrinology, pulmonology, nephrology, and more. $400,000.00 - $600,000.00 per year
