Job Description
Trusted Locum Staffing is partnering with an established community hospital system in Western New York to fill an immediate need for a Critical Care Pulmonologist . The facility is a growing, full-service hospital serving the Fredonia/Dunkirk area on the shores of Lake Erie — just 40 miles south of Buffalo, with easy access to the Southern Tier and Buffalo's restaurants, sports, and culture, plus a lower cost of living and less city congestion. This opportunity is open on a locum tenens basis at $250/hour , with strong potential for a permanent role for the right physician. What you'll do Provide pulmonary and critical care coverage in the hospital ICU and outpatient practice Manage ventilated patients, ARDS, sepsis, septic shock, COPD exacerbations, and complex pulmonary cases Perform bedside procedures including intubation, central lines, arterial lines, and bronchoscopy as indicated Round on assigned ICU patients and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team Document in the EMR and participate in handoffs with the on-site care team What you bring MD or DO degree Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine (or Critical Care Medicine) Active NY medical license — or willingness to obtain (we handle the legwork) Active DEA registration Clean malpractice history BLS and ACLS current Why locum with Trusted We aren't a job board with a phone number.
