Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Primary Care Physician, where your expertise will directly impact patient health and well-being. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive medical care, promote preventive health strategies, and serve as the first point of contact for patients across diverse age groups and health conditions. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations to determine health status and develop personalized care plans. Manage acute and chronic illnesses by prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests such as medical imaging (e.g., CT scans), and coordinating follow-up care. Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or EMR systems to document patient encounters accurately, track health trends, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide preventive care services including immunizations, health coaching, screenings, and patient education on lifestyle modifications to promote overall wellness. Collaborate with specialists across disciplines such as cardiology, endocrinology, dermatology, psychiatry, and obstetrics/gynecology to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Participate in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects to enhance treatment protocols and patient outcomes. Assist in hospital or inpatient settings when necessary, including triage, inpatient management, discharge planning, and post-acute care coordination. Skills Proficiency in using EHR systems like Epic or other EMR platforms for documentation and patient management. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and diagnostic radiology techniques such as CT scans or nuclear medicine. Experience with outpatient care settings, including medical office experience and telehealth experience for remote consultations. Familiarity with procedures such as suturing, IV infusion administration, basic airway management, and wound care techniques. Ability to perform comprehensive physical examinations and interpret laboratory results to inform clinical decisions. Knowledge of specialty areas including psychiatry, endocrinology, cardiology, nephrology, infectious disease care, geriatrics, pediatrics (including neonatal ventilator management), and family medicine. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate communication and health coaching to empower patients in their wellness journeys. Pay:
$225,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
