The Attending Staff Physician serves as the attending of record for assigned residents, guiding their overall medical care. In this role, you coordinate and oversee treatment for residents in long-term care and short-term rehabilitation, helping ensure care stays consistent, well-managed, and tailored to what each person needs. You're part of an interdisciplinary care team, collaborating closely with residents, their families, staff, and outside providers or services.

The goal is straightforward:

deliver thoughtful, person-centered care that supports improved outcomes. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Medical Services / Chief Medical Officer. What do I need for this role? Doctor of allopathic or osteopathic medicine. License to practice medicine in New York State. Board Certified in family medicine or internal medicine. Minimum of two (2) years' experience working as part of an interdisciplinary care team or fellowship training in geriatrics or hospice and palliative medicine.

Preference :

Added qualifications and/or board certification in geriatrics and/or hospice and palliative medicine.

Preference :
