Gastroenterologist - Community Hospital

Gastroenterologist needed for a medical group affiliated with a strong community hospital in Rockland County New York. Schedule would be 2 days a week in the office and 3 days at the hospital treating consults and doing endoscopy procedures. Employed position with competitive compensation plan and benefits (health, dental, vision, disability), retirement plan, expenses for license/dues/CME, generous PTO plan, paid medical malpractice including tail coverage.

Job Function:

Practice has three gastroenterologists currently, one physician close to retirement and looking to grow practice. Practice has office location 10 minutes from hospital and full staff of MAs trained to assist in procedures. Strong collegial group - was recently acquired by the hospital so will benefit from medical group referrals and hospital support.

Job Requirements:

State license.

DEA. CSR

(active or applied preferred) but not required. Fellowship training in Gastroenterology Required.
