Primary Care Physician, Community Health Center, New York

(Physician/MD qualifications required) Internal Medicine - Primary Care -Internal Medicine|Family Medicine. The Primary Care Physician is responsible for the examination, medical diagnoses, treatment and advice to underserved patients. Prescribe and|or dispense required medication to patients. Provide medical supervision to the assigned clinical team leaders. Directs, organizes and participates in preventive health programs. Participates in the development and implementation of quality assurance management and utilization review. Reviews incoming reports (e.g. lab, x-ray, EKG) sign, date and follow-up in a timely manner. Participates in specified health promotion, education and|or prevention programs as needed i.e. diabetes collaborative|health fairs etc. Participates in community outreach programs. Contributes to the overall functioning of the department. Maintains patient records in accordance with the policies of the department. Monday - Friday Schedule, Option of 4 day workweek. No Nights, Weekends or Call!!
