Attending Pulmonary Critical Care Physician

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center seeking full time Pulmonary and Critical care trained board certified physician to join our team in an academic community-hospital in Queens, NY. Position is a combined Critical Care and Pulmonary opportunity with inpatient and outpatient work Closed Model ICU, Call shared equally among group, no outpatient work while in MICU Schedule rotates between the Medical ICU, inpatient pulmonary, and outpatient office services. Working with internal medicine residents as part of clinical faculty, opportunity for leadership positions, MICU is fully staffed by Internal Medicine residents Competitive Salary and Excellent Benefits provided by medical group NYSMD License Fellowship trained in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Minutes away from NYC. Excellent Salary and Benefits Clinical Base Salary $300,000. In addition to the Clinical Base Salary, Physician will be eligible to receive ANNUAL incentive compensation of $25,000 upon meeting the goals and targets and other metrics developed by Department Chair. We have fully accredited Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Fellowship Programs and provide care in most medical and surgical subspecialty areas including interventional cardiology, dialysis and sleep medicine. Our Chest Pain Center offers immediate evaluation and the recently expanded Pediatric ED is equipped to handle the most critical cases. We are also supported by a large network of community based ambulatory care and one of the largest voluntary ambulance fleet serving the City 911 system.
