Cytology + Surgical Pathology L ocums Job in New York Scheduled Clinical Hours Beginning ASAP Ongoing Assignment Coverage Details Monday through Friday, 8 AM 5 PM 3 6 month assignment Credentialing timeframe: approximately days Requirements AP board certified Active New York state license Required Procedures / Skills Surgical pathology Cytology Assignment Details Responsibilities include general anatomic pathology, frozen sections, and cytology interpretation Locum will gross own specimens and cut own frozen sections Surgical pathology volume: approximately 13,000 specimens annually Cytology volume: approximately 3,000 specimens annually Other pathologists on site Support staff includes physicians, histotechnologists, a pathology assistant, and cytotechnologists Cytology proficiency exam required for GYN cytology
