Job Description

Join Dayton Children's Hospital as a Locum Physician in Emergency Medicine - Pediatric Care in Dayton, OH! Are you a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician looking to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant hospital setting? Dayton Children's Hospital is seeking experienced, compassionate locum physicians to provide top-tier emergency care at both our Main and South Campus locations. This opportunity offers flexible coverage with a focus on patient-centered care in a Level I trauma center serving a large and diverse pediatric population. What You'll Need:
Valid medical license and DEA certification in Ohio Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine with pediatric focus Proven experience in pediatric emergency medicine, ideally in a high-volume, Level I trauma setting Strong skills in supervision of APPs and residents Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Proficiency with
EPIC EMR
system Ability to respond promptly within 60 minutes to emergency calls Willingness to supervise paramedics and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Nice to
Have:
Prior experience in academic or teaching hospital environments Additional certifications such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Experience with complex trauma cases and extensive pediatric diagnostics
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 2+ years of emergency medicine experience, with pediatrics preferred Credentialed or able to secure credentialing within 120 days
Other Requirements:
