  • Hospitalist - ICU
  • Location:
    Newark, Ohio
  • General Description
  • Seeking a Hospitalist to join a multi-specialty physician group in a community-focused healthcare setting
  • Opportunity to work in a non-profit, mission-driven environment dedicated to improving community health and well-being
  • Practice in a modern facility offering a full spectrum of patient care services, including emergency medicine, cancer care, heart health, maternity, and mental health services
  • Collaborative and collegial work environment with a team of 100+ physicians across multiple specialties
  • Strong emphasis on patient safety, quality care, and use of advanced medical technology

  • Full-time position with day shift schedule
  • 7 on / 7 off block schedule with 12-hour shifts
  • Semi-closed ICU model (Pulmonary/Critical Care coverage during daytime)
  • Responsible for codes and procedures
  • Procedural skills preferred
  • Single-hospital coverage Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive inpatient care to hospitalized patients
  • Manage ICU-level patients in a semi-closed ICU setting
  • Respond to codes and perform necessary procedures
  • Collaborate with specialists and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and adherence to safety standards Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency or fellowship completion)
  • Eligible for Ohio medical licensure
  • Strong clinical and procedural skills preferred Additional Details
