Job Description
- Hospitalist - ICU
Location:
Newark, Ohio- General Description
- Seeking a Hospitalist to join a multi-specialty physician group in a community-focused healthcare setting
- Opportunity to work in a non-profit, mission-driven environment dedicated to improving community health and well-being
- Practice in a modern facility offering a full spectrum of patient care services, including emergency medicine, cancer care, heart health, maternity, and mental health services
- Collaborative and collegial work environment with a team of 100+ physicians across multiple specialties
- Strong emphasis on patient safety, quality care, and use of advanced medical technology

- Full-time position with day shift schedule
- 7 on / 7 off block schedule with 12-hour shifts
- Semi-closed ICU model (Pulmonary/Critical Care coverage during daytime)
- Responsible for codes and procedures
- Procedural skills preferred
- Single-hospital coverage Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care to hospitalized patients
- Manage ICU-level patients in a semi-closed ICU setting
- Respond to codes and perform necessary procedures
- Collaborate with specialists and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and adherence to safety standards Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency or fellowship completion)
- Eligible for Ohio medical licensure
- Strong clinical and procedural skills preferred Additional Details
