This rewarding travel assignment for an Interventional Radiology Technologist invites you to work within a highly respected medical environment, collaborating alongside skilled professionals who are passionate about innovative patient care. Engaging with diverse workplace practices and leadership styles, you'll enrich your professional toolkit and expand your clinical scope, especially in neuro-interventional procedures and high-acuity cases.
Schedule/Hours:
Four 9-hour shifts weekly (Monday-Friday, as assigned) totaling 36 hours per week Rotating daily shifts: 7am-4:30pm, 7:30am-5pm, or 8am-5:30pm On-call required: one day per week with every 4th weekend (must stay within 30 minutes of hospital during call)Key Qualifications:
ARRT certification and registration (required) BLS (required, can be obtained before providing patient care) 2-3 years' experience as an IR Tech, with neuro-interventional and angiogram experience highly preferred Prior travel experience is a plus Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork abilities Preferred experience: vascular/interventional rad tech certifications, familiarity withPACS and EPIC Core Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic and interventional vascular/neuro procedures, including assisting with fluoroscopy and specialized cases Prepare and document medications and manage radiation safety Deliver clear instructions to patients and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Maintain supply inventory and ensure accurate patient records Provide mentorship and guidance to students and colleaguesBenefits and Perks:
