Join Our Growing Surgical Team - Seeking a Board-Certified Colorectal Surgeon Mercy Health invites a Board-Certified Colorectal Surgeon to join our General Surgery team in Toledo, Ohio. This opportunity offers the chance to help shape and grow a colorectal subspecialty service within a collaborative, well-supported surgical environment. Whether you are early in your career or bring years of experience, this role offers a meaningful blend of clinical practice, collaboration, and program development. You'll work closely with surgical, oncology, and gastroenterology colleagues, supported by modern facilities and a strong infrastructure that allows you to focus on delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care. The Role Join a collegial General Surgery team with a strong multidisciplinary approach Play an active role in the continued development of a colorectal surgery service line Provide comprehensive colorectal surgical care to a diverse patient population Participate in teaching and mentorship through the General Surgery Residency Program Enjoy a Monday-Friday schedule with dedicated time for clinic, procedures, planning, and follow-up Practice Environment Integrated care model with close collaboration across specialties Advanced technology and full ancillary support Engaged leadership and long-term program investment Mission-driven, not-for-profit health system Qualifications Board-Certified General Surgeon Fellowship training in Colorectal Surgery Board Certification in Colon and Rectal Surgery preferred Interest in program development and multidisciplinary care Passion for teaching and mentorship Life in Toledo Toledo offers the accessibility and affordability of a mid-sized city with a rich cultural and outdoor lifestyle.
