Job Description

ATS is seeking a professional with the knowledge, skills, abilities and experience to provide Family Medicine services to patients at an Indian health government facility on a one to five year contract.
Place of performance:
Anadarko, OK Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine, from an accredited medical school. Current, valid license to practice medicine, in the state of Oklahoma Current and valid Board certification Currant, valid malpractice insurance 2 4 years experience
BLS and ACLS US Citizen Job Duties:
The number of patients to be seen shall be no less than an estimated 20 per eight (8) hour work day. Examine, diagnose, and develop treatment plans and recommendations for patients seen. Recommend and refer patients to other Indian Health Service providers and Purchase Referred Care vendors within appropriate IHS guidelines. The physician shall be proficient in electronically documenting services utilizing the appropriate electronic medical record system for patient encounters; complete all required administrative paperwork within 24-hours of patient visit to include electronic consults, co-signatures, completion of chart or Risk Management Reviews, unusual occurrences and peer review, as required. The physician shall be responsible for actions necessary for The Joint Commission (TJC) standard compliance and administrative policies, as directed. Provide consultation to the Hospital Emergency Department health care providers on an as needed basis. Provide physician service and staff urgent care clinic, as needed.
