Job Description

Advanced Gastroenterologist - Immediate Need | Inpatient +
Call Start:
ASAP (credentialing required)
Schedule:
12-hour in-house (8A-8P) + 12-hour call (8P-8A)
Coverage:
1-2 weeks/month (ongoing 9-12 months)
Setting:
Inpatient |
EMR:
Epic | IMLC accepted | Temp privileges available Position Details 15-20 patients/day + ~5 procedures Call volume: 0-10/night | 1-3 callbacks avg Hospital proceduralist + call coverage Advanced endoscopy program (ERCP, EUS, advanced resections) Requirements GI Fellowship (ACGME/AOA) + Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship Recent Experience (last 12 months): 200 therapeutic ERCPs 40 sphincterotomies 10 stent placements (or completed training within 12 months) Procedures Required Upper GI endoscopy (biopsy, bleeding control, varices, foreign body), ERCP (diagnostic/therapeutic), PEG, EUS, liver biopsy, Sengstaken/Blakemore tube management
