The Manager Radiology•2 is responsible for managing radiology services for the facility, including planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling all department activities. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.INTEGRIS

The Manager Radiology•2 responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Manages department staff, including hiring, evaluating performance and competency, and conducting disciplinary/counseling sessions as needed Conducts short•and long-range departmental planning including budgeting, planning for new projects, technology, the design and renovation of physical facilities, and utilization of space and organization of services Directs the delivery and evaluation of the quality of care provided to patients through an on-going Quality Assurance Program Establishes and monitors programs and activities necessary for departmental compliance with the requirements of Joint Commission, NRC and other agencies Establishes a plan for the replacement of major equipment, including necessary capital improvement Develops and maintains a working system of procedures and staffing manuals to communicate and provide problem referral information with respect to policies and practices Reports to assigned leader This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Exposed to traffic accidents while traveling, weather conditions when traveling, and frequent stress. Work may be required after hours and on weekends. Exposed to potential health hazards when working with patients. 5 years of technical and patient care experience as a Radiographer; actual procedures, computed tomography, ultrasonography, nuclear medicine or radiation therapyEDUCATION
Graduation from an AMA accredited program of Radiological TechnologyLICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS
ARRT-R (Radiography)OR ARDMS-RDMS
(Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)OR NMTCB-NMT
(Nuclear Medicine Technology) BLS (Basic Life Support) Issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association OR CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hireSKILLS:
Knowledge and technical skills to use a variety of highly specialized radiographic equipment and related procedures Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE
CT experience 3 years previous healthcare supervisory experienceEDUCATION
