Outpatient Clinic with Hospital CollaborationSeeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Primary Care Physician to provide full-spectrum medical care in a community-focused hospital and clinic setting in Duncan, Oklahoma. This opportunity offers meaningful patient relationships, collaborative team care, and the ability to make a direct impact in a rural community.
Position Highlights:
Provide comprehensive primary care services in a rural hospital and clinic environmentCollaborate closely with advanced practice providers and multidisciplinary medical teamsDiagnose and treat acute and chronic illnessesPerform wellness exams, consultations, and preventive care servicesManage immunizations and ongoing health maintenanceProvide patient and family education focused on long-term health and wellbeingParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical committeesOpportunities to teach and mentor medical staff, students, and residentsEngage with community outreach programs and health education initiativesMaintain continuity of care through coordinated referrals and consultations
Responsibilities:
Conduct patient evaluations, order and interpret diagnostic testing, and develop treatment plansAdapt care approaches to meet cultural, developmental, and individual patient needsMaintain accurate and timely electronic health record documentationParticipate in departmental policy development and program evaluationAssist with medical emergencies and provide clinical consultation when neededMaintain compliance with organizational policies and medical standardsParticipate in continuing medical education and professional development
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institutionCompletion of an accredited residency programBoard Certified or Board EligibleValid Oklahoma medical license or eligibilityCurrent DEA and BNDD registrationStrong diagnostic, clinical, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team-based modelProficiency with electronic health record systems and basic computer applicationsValid driver's license and automobile liability insurance if travel is required
