As a Locum MD, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with hematological and oncological conditions. You will collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients, applying your expertise to enhance our clinical offerings. This role provides a unique chance to make a significant impact within the community while enjoying the flexibility of contract employment. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive patient evaluation and management in hematology oncology Diagnose and treat a range of hematological and oncological disorders Conduct consultations and interpret diagnostic tests Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care Educate patients and their families on treatment options and care plans Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of hematology oncology Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards Requirements MD degree from an accredited medical school Board certification in Hematology and/or Oncology preferred Experience in a clinical setting focusing on hematology oncology Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Detail-oriented with excellent diagnostic skills Commitment to providing compassionate care to patients Valid medical license to practice in the state of
Lawton Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts Minimum call, phone only
Setting:
Outpatient, onsite and remote
Daily Volume:
~8-10 to start, then ~12-15 patients
Case Types:
50/50 hematology /medical oncology
EMR:
Mosaic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
