Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Interventional Pain Management Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative, minimally invasive pain relief solutions to patients suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize advanced interventional techniques, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and improve patients' quality of life through targeted therapies. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional committed to excellence in patient care and clinical innovation. Duties Perform interventional procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, radiofrequency ablations, and other minimally invasive pain management techniques using advanced imaging guidance including ultrasound and fluoroscopy. Assess patient histories and conduct comprehensive physical examinations to develop personalized pain management plans aligned with best practices. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document procedures, update patient records, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams including radiology, neurology, and physical therapy. Collaborate with referring physicians to evaluate treatment options and provide ongoing follow-up care to monitor treatment efficacy and adjust plans accordingly. Educate patients about their condition, treatment options, and post-procedure care to ensure understanding and compliance. Maintain proficiency in medical imaging modalities such as CT scans and fluoroscopy to enhance procedural accuracy. Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols during all clinical activities. Skills Extensive experience with interventional radiology techniques including catheterization, neurocritical care procedures, and vascular interventional radiography. Proficiency in using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic or similar platforms for documentation and patient management. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pain pathways relevant to interventional pain procedures. Familiarity with medical imaging technologies including CT scans and fluoroscopy for precise intervention guidance. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and provide compassionate care. Ability to operate medical equipment safely while maintaining aseptic technique during procedures. Basic life support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications in sedation or anesthesia are a plus.
