Job Description

Overview Are you interested in rheumatology? If so, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with either internal medicine or rheumatology experience, to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases, including arthritis, lupus, and other autoimmune disorders. This role requires excellent clinical skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. We have a experienced rheumatology provider to help guide you through this process if you do not have rheumatology experience, but are willing to learn. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments to diagnose rheumatic conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists in sports medicine, geriatrics, emergency medicine, pain medicine, and hospice care. Educate patients about their conditions and treatment options to promote adherence and improve outcomes. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper coding for billing purposes. Stay updated on advancements in rheumatology and participate in ongoing professional development. Experience Current Oklahoma medical, OBNDD and DEA licensure Previous experience in a clinical setting focusing on rheumatological issues is preferred. Familiarity with fields related to rheumatology . Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, including geriatric populations.
