Practice Highlights:
  • Opportunity for a variety of Orthopedic cases o Including General, Sports, Total Joint, Upper Extremity and more

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Clinic and surgical assist work
  • Assisting the orthopedic surgeons in the clinic setting
  • Conducting new and existing patient orthopedic examinations
  • Developing treatment plans, adjusting and prescribing medications
  • Performing in-clinic procedures, conducting pre-operative assessments
  • Explaining the surgical procedure to the patient
  • Assisting the orthopedic surgeon in the OR and conducting hospital rounds as needed

Required Qualifications:
  • Must have previous orthopedics surgery experience
  • Master's degree in nursing with advanced skills in physical assessment OR Possession of a Bachelor's degree, together with a certificate from completing an American Medical Association approved physician associate program
  • Unrestricted licensure in the state of Oregon, or able to obtain
  • Current OR DEA certificate required prior to start date
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2-3 years orthopedics surgery experience preferred
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $166,500 per year.
Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
