ASAP About the Position Join Our Team as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist in Hood River, OR - Make a Meaningful Impact on Women's Health! Are you a dedicated OB/GYN professional passionate about providing exceptional care in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a skilled Obstetrics and Gynecology provider to join our team in Hood River, Oregon. This full-time locum position offers the opportunity to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, delivering vital services to the community while enjoying a supportive team environment and competitive benefits. Required Skills Valid Oregon medical license and DEA license Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology (BC or BE within 3-5 years) Proven experience in both OB and GYN procedures, including deliveries, in-office procedures, and minor surgeries Strong clinical skills with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced setting Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to provide recent case logs demonstrating OB and GYN cases within the past 24 months Current BLS and NRP certifications Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience with remote or telehealth consultation Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems Previous experience in a rural or community hospital setting Additional certifications or training in advanced gynecological procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree from an accredited institution Active Oregon medical license At least 3-5 years of post-residency experience in
OB/GYN Other Requirements:
Willingness to work scheduled clinic hours and handle call coverage, including weeknight and weekend shifts Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling, including 1 week on/1 week off or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off options Must be available for virtual interviews within the next two weeks Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care in a community-focused environment This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your professional horizons while making a difference in the Hood River community.
