As a Locum Cardiology Physician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions while collaborating with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and contribute to the overall mission of our practice in delivering exceptional healthcare services. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations Diagnose and treat a variety of cardiovascular conditions Perform electrophysiology procedures and interventions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiology and electrophysiology Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Requirements Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Board certification in Cardiology or related field Strong clinical skills and experience in electrophysiology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Current medical license to practice in the state of Missouri Experience in a similar role is preferred
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8 to 10-hour day shifts No call requirement
Patient Census:
6-18 per day
Required Procedures:
EP studies, ablations (cryo), pacemaker insertion, and ICD placement
Support Staff:
Techs, nurses, APPs, cath lab/EP techs, cardiology team, cardiothoracic surgeons, anesthesia staff Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
