Competitive pay UPMC Altoona is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Pulmonary/Critical Care physician to join our team in Altoona, PA. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care for patients with a broad range of general and advanced pulmonary disorders and will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver advanced critical care medicine during ICU rotations. As part of the world-renowned UPMC network?comprising 40 hospitals, more than 90,000 employees, over 700 physician offices, and a 4+ million-member insurance services division (UPMC Health Plan)?we offer the resources of a large academic system within a collegial community setting. UPMC Altoona Regional Health Services (ARHS) is a multispecialty group of more than 100 physicians across medical and surgical specialties, supported by a strong primary care referral base. The hospital serves a six-county primary service area of more than 350,000 residents in central Pennsylvania. It is a Level III Trauma Center and a thrombectomy-capable interventional stroke center serving an 18-county region from New York to Maryland.
