1135233 Transplant Hepatology St. Lukes University Health Network (SLUHN) is seeking a BC/BE Transplant Hepatologist to join our established team of 40+ gastroenterology specialists. We are offering a unique opportunity to provide specialized liver care within a high-volume regional practice. The role also offers dual institutional integration with Penn Transplant Institute as part of a collaborative partnership, serving as a bridge between our regional network and one of the nations top transplant centers.
Clinical and Academic Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive outpatient care for a diverse patient population with complex liver diseases Maintain an academic appointment at Penn Medicine to assess liver transplantation eligibility and manage pre- and post-transplant care Provide medical education and mentorship for gastroenterology fellows, internal medicine residents and medical students enrolled in Temple / St. Lukes School of Medicine
Collaboration and Integrated Transplant Care:
Participate in multidisciplinary transplant selection and morbidity and mortality conference as an integrated member of the Penn Transplant team Collaborate closely with interventional radiology, transplant surgery, surgical/medical oncology, and pathology to manage complex hepatobiliary cases Benefit from a strong referral network with over 3,000 annual hepatology visits
Specialized Expertise and Innovation:
