Job Description

Opportunity:
Physician -
Hematology/Oncology Job Details:
Full-time coverage with 5 clinic days per week and 8-hour day shifts Clinic hours from 8:00 AM with first patient at 8:15/8:30 AM and last patient at 3:30 PM Average 15 patients per day in adult Hematology & Oncology practice Patient mix: 60% Hematology / 40% Oncology including solid tumor oncology, benign and malignant hematology Weekend coverage 2 weekends per month and night call 10 days per month with 1:2 call rotation Weeknight call coverage from 4:15 PM to 8:00 AM with typically 2-3 patient calls between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM 24-hour weekend call coverage including 2 hours gratis rounding on Saturday/Sunday Consulting service only with hospitalists managing admissions Access to 14-chair infusion center onsite with 2-bed infusion room and oncology-certified nursing staff Onsite radiation oncology services and pharmacist support available Participation in disease-specific and general tumor boards EMR system: EPIC Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology required Minimum 1 year experience required DEA and PA license or IMLC required Minimum 6-month commitment with ongoing need
