5 days/week, 8 hours each day Rounding Required? If yes, when?: Rounding is supported by the APPs but does require physician coverage. Hospital coverage aligns with call rotation.
Call Schedule:
Weekend coverage: 2 weekends per month Night call: 10 days per month Call rotation schedule: 1:2 Call types (inpatient/phone/both): Both How many hours of rounding are included during call: on Sat/Sun 2 hours gratis Walk through a typical call shift: Evening call M-F starts at 16:15-0800. Typically 2-3 patient calls from 17:00-21:00, rarely after 21:00. You will be on call for ER and hospital team. Weekend is 24 hour shift. Average # of calls/call shift and call back hours: Average # of admissions/call shift: Consulting group only, hospitalists handle admissions Any patient contact that does NOT count as call back: phone calls

Workflow:
Walk me through a typical day for the provider: Day starts at 0800, clinic patients start at 08:15/08:30. Last patient scheduled at 15:30 and a thirty minute lunch is provided.
