Hanover, PA Job Description:
A full-time opportunity is available for a Neurologist to join a growing neuroscience program within a collaborative, team-based environment. This role offers a flexible scope of practice, including general neurology with the opportunity to develop subspecialty interests in neuromuscular medicine or neurophysiology. Physicians will primarily provide outpatient care while supporting inpatient services at affiliated hospitals, with access to advanced diagnostic tools, specialty support, and a strong referral network. Schedule:
Full-time position Day schedule Combination of outpatient clinic and inpatient support
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological conditions Provide comprehensive outpatient neurology care Support inpatient consult services at affiliated hospitals Perform and interpret neurodiagnostic studies such as EMG and EEG (preferred) Develop subspecialty interests in neuromuscular or neurophysiology services Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurosurgeons, neuropsychologists, and advanced practice providers Participate in teaching activities, including medical student and resident education Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Deliver high-quality, compassionate, patient-centered care
Requirements:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of an accredited Neurology Residency Program Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license DEA certification Interest or experience in neuromuscular or neurophysiology preferred Fluency in EMG and/or EEG preferred Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills Open to current residents and fellows
