Job Description

Coverage Needed Start Date:

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8a-4p; possible travel up to two days per week to outlying office Weekend onsite rounding (Saturday and Sunday, 4 hours per day) on assigned weekends
Call Schedule:
Beeper call after hours; 1:2 ratio

Outpatient, Inpatient Patients Per Shift:

Rounding Patients:
Assigned Patients Support Staff:
6 infusion RNs (16 chairs), 3 RN navigators, 2 RN oral chemo navigators, 1 inpatient APP, 1 outpatient APP, 3 MOAs Required to supervise advance practice providers
Call:
Response time within 30 minutes; 0-5 phone consults;
Patients Per Day:
0-5; Call Back %:10 No need to return in person to clinic or hospital May need to answer to clinic critical values or urgent patient matters No admissions; consulting service only Trauma level 1 Hospital rounds/consults to be completed daily on the assigned weeks & weekends Locums-to-Perm candidates highly favored
Requirements Board:
Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology Licenses:
Active PA license or IMLC with
LOQ Certifications:
Completion of 3 hours of child abuse recognition and reporting education and 4 hours of pain management and opioid prescribing education preferred Fellowship preferred
