General Surgery Locum Opportunity Pennsylvania Position Overview A healthcare organization in Pennsylvania is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Surgeon to provide holiday call coverage. This hospital-based assignment offers 24-hour beeper call coverage with a manageable callback volume and support from an established surgical program.

Compensation:

24 hour call: $2140 per 24 hours to include 2 hrs gratis

Call Back:

$295/hr

November 25, 2026 Coverage Dates November 25 (7:00 AM) November 30 (7:00 AM) Schedule 24-hour beeper call coverage Holiday coverage assignment Average callback volume: 2 4 hours per day Practice Setting Acute Care Hospital Hospital-based General Surgery coverage Epic EMR 163-bed facility Clinical Responsibilities General Surgery call coverage Emergency surgical consultations Evaluation and management of surgical patients Inpatient surgical care as needed Broad-spectrum general surgery practice Required Skills Comprehensive General Surgery experience Ability to manage a wide variety of surgical conditions and emergencies Endoscopy/scoping procedures not required Preferred Skills Robotic surgery experience preferred but not required Patient Population Mixed patient population Adult surgical patients across a broad range of diagnoses and conditions Qualifications Required Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery Active Pennsylvania Medical License or IMLC Letter of Qualification Active DEA Registration Credentialing Credentialing timeframe: approximately days Temporary privileges may be available for providers with a clean file Why Consider This Opportunity?
