About the
Job Locum Hematology/Oncology Opportunity Rate:
$350-$400/hour.
Additional Compensation:
24-
Hour Call:
$5,116.50 per day.
Night Call:
$1,231.75 per shift.
Call Back:
$710.63 per hour.
Assignment Details:
Specialty:
Hematology/Oncology.
Start Date:
September 8, 2026.
Contract Length:
Through March 8, 2027.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
Coverage Requirement:
Full-time only (4 days per week may be considered).
Call Schedule:
Weeknight and weekend call rotation of 1:2. Block scheduling is not available..
Practice Overview:
Join a newly established Medical Oncology and Hematology practice providing comprehensive care to adult patients. The practice focuses on community-based oncology and hematology services, with occasional inpatient consultations as needed.
Clinical Details:
Adult patient population (18+). Approximately 10 patients per day initially, with expected growth.
Case mix:
Approximately 60% Oncology and 40% Hematology. Clinic-based practice with inpatient consult responsibilities.
Electronic Medical Record:
Epic.
Hospital size:
131 beds.
Support Staff:
The practice will include: 2 Front Office Staff. 1 Registered Nurse (RN). 1 Medical Assistant (MA). 1 Patient Navigator. Additional support personnel.
Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology (Required) Active Pennsylvania License or IMLC Letter of Qualification (Required at presentation) Active DEA Registration (Required)
Credentialing:
Estimated credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days.
