Make a Difference Where It Matters Most - Join Geisinger Mount Pocono Geisinger is seeking a board certified/board eligible Family Medicine or Med/Peds physician to join Geisinger Mount Pocono in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania. This outpatient primary care opportunity is ideal for a physician who is passionate about providing care to patients of all ages (birth through geriatrics) and delivering comprehensive women's health services as part of a collaborative, patient-centered care model.
Job Duties:
Position Requirements (Required) Provide full-spectrum primary care to patients of all ages (birth-geriatric) Provide full-scope women's health services Board Certified / Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Med/Peds Commitment to team-based, value-driven care What You'll Love About This Role Outpatient-only primary care practice 36 clinical hours + 4 administrative hours per week One evening per week required Saturday rotation approximately 1:6 APP panel-sharing model Epic EMR with Abridge voice dictation to reduce documentation burden Robust Support Model 24/7 nurse call center Centralized prescription refill team Behavioral health collaboration Nurse coordinators for high-risk patients UpToDate access and value-based care resources Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $320,000 - $375,000 (based on experience) Up to $250,000 in recruitment incentives Residency/Fellowship stipend up to $45,000 (available up to 18 months prior to graduation)
CME:
15 days and $4,500 annually Paid relocation 401(k): Geisinger contribution of over $15,000 annually Academic involvement opportunities with medical students and residents Location Highlight - Mount Pocono, PA Located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains, Mount Pocono offers four-season recreation, scenic outdoor activities, and a welcoming community with easy access to major metropolitan areas.
