Job Description

Recruiting for a full time or part-time Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician ( MD or DO) at our New Kensington and/or Vandergrift medical offices. Incumbent must be interested in serving underserved population and must be Board Certified with PA license . CHC offers a competitive and attractive benefits package. Salary is negotiable.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS REGARDING PATIENT CARE
A. Elicits a chief complaint, history of present illness, patient profile, past medical history, family history and review of systems. This includes the social, economic and emotional data. B. Performs a physical exam, using the skills of auscultation, percussion, palpation and inspection. C. Establishes a problem list and plan of therapy which includes teaching and counseling, ordering and performing laboratory and diagnostic tests for baseline data, diet, pharmacotherapy, activity using problem oriented medical record system. D. Determines final disposition of client. E. Makes appropriate referrals to other resources when needed. F. Provides follow-up care for monitoring health and disease state, evaluating progress of each problem including patient education. G. Provides advance practice providers w/consultation & supervision & countersigns medical records. H. Document patients care in Nextgen ( EMR) H. Provides emergency care and after hours coverage as outlined by policy of center.
