Collaborating Psychiatrist

Collaborating Psychiatrist (Collaborative/Consulting Role) We are seeking a licensed Psychiatrist to serve in a collaborative, consultation-based role supporting advanced practice providers within a behavioral health setting. This position focuses on clinical oversight, case consultation, and regulatory collaboration requirements rather than direct patient management.

Responsibilities:

Provide collaborative psychiatric consultation to nurse practitioners Review and sign documentation as required by state regulations Participate in periodic case reviews and treatment planning discussions Support quality assurance, clinical compliance, and best practices Be available for clinical guidance and emergency consultation when needed

Qualifications:

MD or DO with board certification/eligibility in Psychiatry Active unrestricted state medical license DEA registration preferred Prior collaborative or supervisory experience preferred Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Schedule/Commitment:

Flexible, part-time, and primarily remote with minimal administrative burden.
