Seneca, PA Job Description:
A full-time opportunity is available for a Pulmonologist to join an established and growing practice within a comprehensive lung care program. This role offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic responsibilities and inpatient consult services, supported by a team of Advanced Practice Providers. The position provides the opportunity to treat a wide range of pulmonary conditions, perform diagnostic procedures, and manage sleep-related breathing disorders, all within a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Schedule:
Full-time position Outpatient clinic: 5 days per week Inpatient consult service: 7 days per week (shared coverage)
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of pulmonary conditions, including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, cystic fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, and lung nodules/masses Provide both outpatient care and inpatient pulmonary consult services Perform diagnostic procedures such as bronchoscopies Interpret sleep studies and manage sleep-related breathing disorders Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and multidisciplinary care teams Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment Participate in shared inpatient coverage and consult rotations
Requirements:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pulmonary Medicine Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license DEA certification Interventional pulmonology skills preferred, but not required Strong commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
