POSITION OVERVIEW

Specialized Practice Focus:
This role focuses on non-operative sports medicine, offering the opportunity to evaluate and manage a wide range of musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries through conservative treatment approaches. This includes rehabilitation planning, injury prevention, return-to-play management, and image-guided procedures such as ultrasound-guided injections and regenerative medicine treatments in an active patient population.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Required:
Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
Required:
Residency training in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
Required:
Fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine (1 year) from an accredited program.
Licenses & Certifications:
State Medical License to practice in Pennsylvania. Board Certified or Board Eligible in primary specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, PM&R) with a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Sports Medicine.
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a related field, including any relevant residency or fellowship experience.
